Isolating the muscle will help you get stronger

Training can often be quite one dimensional and it's extremely important to work isolated muscle groups. 

When working isolated muscles it can increase the strength to the muscle group and reduce risk of injury as the Joint is being better stabilised by the surrounding muscles.


By isolating the muscles you build strength in the smaller muscles which in turns builds compound movement strength. Think isolating Lat Strength to improve engaging lats in the Deadlift.
